Everything About the Baby's Room

There are a lot of things you have to think of before the baby is born and one of these things is the room where they are going to stay. The room has to be full of light, easy to ventilate and it should let the sun in. It should also face the garden, not the street and it should be connected to the parents' room. If the parents live in the same room as the baby, they should give up on the television and on the too often visits.

When it comes to the elements of the room, these should fulfill the following conditions. The floor is usually problematic because it needs a lot of maintenance and it is usually slippery, which endangers the baby. The most recommended materials are wood and plastic. As for the walls, you should use all kinds of colourful papers and pastel colours. A wrapping table should never be missing from a baby's room and neither should the bed, the chair used by the mother during breastfeeding or the tall chair which she uses to feed the toddler. However, you should avoid paintings and mirrors because there are huge risks with these. Also, you should be careful with the objects which gather dust around them. The baby should also be protected against the plugs by covering them with something. Also, the curtains should be made of fabrics which are not inflammable and they should also be kept at a certain distance from the bed. When it comes to the doors, windows and stairs, you should take some measures of safety and you should also cover or hide the corners of the pieces of furniture.

You should only place the necessary pieces of furniture in the baby's room and it is recommended that the furniture can be easily moved around and washed by the parents. Also, all the pieces of furniture should be stable. You can use the basket for the baby who has already turned a few months. This basket should be fixed, balanced and it should have no drapes or other such things, which make it easier for the dust to set it. You should always use cloth and avoid plastic. You can fill the mattress with sea grass or with corn. You should start using the basket starting with the age of four or five months.

The bed should be used when the baby starts crawling around and rolling over, but you should get a tall bed and with bars which are situated at a long enough distance, so that the baby cannot sneak out of the bed between them. Also, the cart should have good resorts, it should be roomy and it shouldn't be too deep. Also, it should be easy to wash and and it should also be very light. Last but not least, the balance is indispensable because you need to check your baby's weight all the time. You need to check it every week until they turn eight months and then you should check it once a month.
